To scientists, numerology is considered a pseudoscience. To faithful Christians, it is considered a sin, or an abomination. To a scientist, there is no evidence to suggest that Numerology exhibits any scientific merit. As with the likes of astrology, tarot, palmistry and many other so-called "divinatory arts," numerology is scoffed at by the scientific community, and justifiably so.
Although "numerology" is not specifically mentioned in Holy Bible, Christians are warned to avoid all forms of divination, as they are sinful (even evil) in the eyes of God. astrologers, mediums, necromancers, enchanters, magicians, fortune tellers, sorcerers, charmers, diviners, false prophesiers, and those who interpret omens are all included as those who should be avoided, along with any interest in, or fascination with their practices, and justifiably so.
With that said, it is necessary to state that not once in this presentation will there be any talk of divination, short of this disclaimer. While it may at first seem as though traditional numerology is being practiced in this presentation, it is not. It was a single prayer to God the Father that ignited this venture, a heartfelt and selfless prayer seeking only God's will, whatever it might have been. Later in this presentation I will give my testimony and expand on this prayer and the miraculous journey that followed. For now, it should be understood that the mingling of letters and numbers as explained below, was rooted in my belief in God's absolute Providence over His creation, and ALL that happens within it.
While I may have straddled the line between retribution and salvation, I did so with confidence that God was leading me, or perhaps pushing me along the way. As stated in the Introduction, I did not believe in Christ when my studies began, but God the Father drew me to Him (John 6:44), in whatever way He saw fit.

Simply Elementary
While this section introduces the basic principles of Alpha Sum, Digital Sum and Digital Roots, further mathematical exploration will be provided in the upcoming pages, with a deeper dive into how these concepts connect to the larger discovery. This a starting point - a way to familiarize yourself with the method that will be built upon in greater detail later.
Below is the modern English alphabet. Below each letter is the cardinal value that can be assigned to each letter based on its place within the series of letters. These particular values will be referred to as the Alpha Values (AV) from now on.
From above, simply assign the numeric values to each of the corresponding letters of the following words, then add the numbers to arrive at the Alpha Values for each word below.
Below is the same English alphabet, however now the numbers below each letter represent the Digital Roots (DR) of the cardinal values shown in the Alpha section above. For example, the letter J = 10 has a Digital Root of 1, which is calculated by adding its digits together until a single digit remains (1 + 0 = 1). The process is continued for the rest of the alphabet. In another example, the letter S=19, and so 1+9=10, and 1+0=1 making "1" the Digital Root for "S."
Now again, from above simply assign the numeric values to each of the corresponding letters of the following words, then add the numbers to arriving at what are called the Digital Sums (DS) of the same words below.
Finally we arrive at the Digital Roots of these three words by adding the digits of the above Digital Sums:
DR of "love" = 1 + 8 = 9
DR of "hate" = 1 + 6 = 7
DR of "epiphany" = 5 + 0 = 5
